So ever since Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan was conferred the Datuk-ship by Melaka for “making a movie that promoted the state to the whole world”, various other suggestions for Datuk-ships have been made by various other alert Malaysians.

Lim Kit Siang wanted the titles to also go to Catherine Zeta Jones (woohoo!) and Sean Connery since they filmed “Entrapment” here which made the KLCC famous, while blogger Kenny Sia has forwarded Jessica Alba’s name for her contributions to Sarawak and the Iban people in “The Sleeping Dictionary” – a film Mojo Daily regards as a masterpiece.

And now, Mojo Daily joins the fray by strongly recommending the gals of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, class of 2000.

In case you didn’t know, that particular issue was shot at Malaysia’s very own Pangkor Laut Resort. Yes, the biggest swimsuit publication came all the way to our humble land, slapped on the tiniest of bikinis on to the most beautiful of babes and made Pangkor Laut a famous enough name that even the likes of Joan Collins and the late Luciano Pavarotti vacationed here.

I-Gallop, She Better Not!

So gents, apart from sliced bread and FHM, we're sure you'd agreed with me that the i-gallop ranks as one of the greatest human inventions. Ever.

Not that we have any interest whatsoever in actually getting off our butts to sweat it on the machine, but the imagery of our women, um, galloping away on this baby never fails to keep us mega entertained every single time. Like so...

And if mojo remembers correctly, the i-gallop was first introduced some 2 years ago during the World Cup in Germany. We remember gawking at the TVC during half-time of matches. And really, whoever the marketing person was, the dude's a real genius.

It's cool 'cos: Got Will Smith mah. Duh. But also, the quiet and claustrophobic feel of the flick ensures maximum jolt when the scary bits come on.

Welcome! So ok, let me address THE question of why bother with another blog... Well, this is NOT just another blog. MOJO DAILY is all about what dudes care about. You know, babes, footie, babes, weird stuff, babes... aiya, do I have to spell everything out?

Those who know me would know that I used to edit FHM Malaysia mag as well as NewMan Malaysia. I've also been involved with a host of other Malaysian lad mags including Men's Review, his, Exclusively Male and, um, BB Club.

So about a couple of years ago I left lad mag-dom and did other stuff. And now I'm invading the new media space via GUA.COM.MY. If you haven't checked out GUA, you should get your head checked. It absolutely rocks!

But here's a confession. I've also missed ruling the local lad rag-dom. I was reading the latest issue of MAXIM US, and found myself missing doing all those funny captions, "researching" zany stories and yes, profiling the latest babes that matter...

And so, voila! MOJO DAILY is born! Also, I feel there's too much negativity going on in the world today. Everyone's so uptight and take things too literally... Boo uptight and literal people! Hurrah for the appreciation of the gorgeous and the gorgeously weird things in life.
